Pigskin Ladder is a free NFL career-stats game. Each round shows two former players and one statistic. You choose who has the bigger regular-season career total. A correct answer climbs one rung of the ladder. A wrong answer, or letting the timer run out, costs one of your three lives. When the last life is gone the run ends, and your best run is saved in your browser only.
As you climb, the timer shortens and the game only offers the closest matchups in its data set.
| Tier | Rungs | Time | Matchups drawn from |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sandlot | 1–3 | 14s | Any matchup |
| Varsity | 4–6 | 11s | Closest 55% of pairs |
| Pro Bowl | 7–9 | 9s | Closest 35% of pairs |
| All-Pro | 10–13 | 7s | Closest 22% of pairs |
| Hall of Fame | 14+ | 6s | Closest 12% of pairs |
For interceptions, “bigger” means more thrown. All numbers are regular-season career totals for 55 players. Equal totals are never paired.
Our guides go deeper: strategy for getting past the Pro Bowl tier, how the game picks its matchups and the closest matchups on the ladder.
